Clark Little is willing to risk it all. The professional photographer isn’t afraid to face some of the largest waves on earth in order to capture their beauty. Little frequents the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii, where surfing competitions are a common occurrence.
He’s used to being thrown around and roughed up by the waves, but with the images he captures, it’s all worth it.
Little explains that he didn’t grow up taking pictures. Rather, one day his wife arrived home with some new wall art: a photo of a Waimea shore break, he explains on YouTube. He figured he couple replicate that kind of image, so he put together a homemade waterproof camera and got to work. Years later, he’s heralded as one of the greatest wave photographers.
